Thank you for both your articles on the MPP program and this one. I didn't know I had a deep poetry groove until I started on Medium. I didn't know what I was doing, but did it anyway.

As an historical note, I realize that all my years sitting in the choir allowed me to observe the different forms of spoken word and how it connects with the congregation. I'm writing prayers and leaving the "response" with the reader.
