My caveat is “Don’t be a genre snob!” I read many genres of fiction and they morph over time. Steam punk is a wonderful genre that has revitalized science fiction. It’s for people who love historical romance, gadgets, and fashion. It is a pleasure to read, because it is witty without being coarse.
