Flames plume from resin scented pine.
Each cone is nature’s briquette
Helping the fire grow.

Blood sucking invaders stay back!
The smoke coats our community
with a pure purpose.

Outrage and the voices of the world renewed my belief in humanity. Enough people cared what happened to one man that they took to the streets to proclaim justice as the only acceptable solution. There must also be opportunity.

Inspired by Shweta for her poem Flame.
