Gerald, I'm so sorry this happened to you. Over two decades ago, a woman like this bought a house across the street from us. She & her husband were going to fix it up for rental income. She was so judgmental and mean, somebody was so offended they slapped her. She never came back and her husband completed the renovations alone. Earlier, she came over to talk to me & I listened to her sneering but didn't go along to get along. Instead, I explained to her that there were only 3 rental properties on the entire block. Most owned their home or inherited it. I finished by saying, "The only thing they own is their good name and it means a lot to them." I then explained how we watched out for each other. I've owned that property since I was 18 & we STILL watch out for each other. Keep being your good selves.💕
